Recipe: Chocolate oat cookies

Packed filled with nuts, seeds, oats and chocolate...perfect for kids lunchbox's, breastfeeding or packing kai for on the go!

This recipe makes between 15-18 cookies depending on the size you make them.


Enjoy.



  • 75 grams Butter

  • 2 cups Oats

  • 1/2 cup Almond Flour (Almonds blended into a flour)

  • 1/4 cup Ground Flax Seed ( Ground your whole flaxseed)

  • 1/2 cup packed Brown Sugar

  • 1 tsp Baking Powder

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips or chocolate of choice


  1. Turn the oven on to 180 degrees Celsius. Place the butter in a microwave until melted.

  2. Place the oats into a blender and blend into flour.

  3. Place the butter, vanilla and brown sugar into a bowl and mix.

  4. Place all the dry ingredients into the bowl and combine.

  5. Using a Tbsp, pick up the dough and then roll into balls , place on a lined tray, flatten and cook for 10 minutes or until slightly golden.

  6. Cool on a cooling rack and place in an airtight container.
